26 March, Shadhinota Dibosh
March 26. The day Independence of Bangladesh was formally declared on the eve of a 9 month long war of Independence with Pakistan that led to the emergence of Bangladesh as a sovereign nation. After many years of exploitation, both politically and economically, the Bengali national sentiments led to the massive victory of Banga boundho Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Awami League in the Pakistan National Elections of 1970.
The ruling oligarchs in the then West Pakistan balked at having to give up the reigns of power to East Pakistanis. ...Eid-E-Miladunnabi...

Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), will be observed on March 10 with due solemnity. The National Moon Sighting Committee announced this from a meeting at the Islamic Foundation soon after the moon of Rabiul Awal month was sighted in Bangladesh sky...
12th of Rabiul awal brings with it great blessings and joy for the Muslims. It is the day when Allah Almighty sent His Most Beloved and the Most Praised Holy Prophet Muhammad (SM) (Peace Be Upon Him) to this world to guide the humanity towards ultimate Truth and path of light...
This day is rightly called a Eid because it’s the 3rd and biggest of all other Eids. It was through Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that we came to know about Allah Almighty and got Holy book ‘Quran Sharif’. On this day we remind ourselves of the unaccountable blessings, kindness and Love which the Muslim Ummah got from Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and thank Allah Almighty for making us Ummati of His Great Prophet (SM)(peace be upon him)...
Allah Almighty says in Quran:
"The peace is on Him the day when he was born and the day when he will die and the day when he will be raised alive." (The translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al-Maryam, Verse 15)
